London [Robert and Susan Kimber] 1841 onwards
« on: Tuesday 27 March 12 09:55 BST (UK) »
Hello Iam looking for information on

Robert Kimber s/o John Kimber occp. a Baker whom married Susan Stutely on 12 Feb 1841 at St Dunstains and All Saints, Stepney

Susan born c1821? was bapt 25/1/1829 at Queenborough, Kent and is the daughter of Joseph and Charlotte Stutely a Stonemason (Joseph and Charlotte came to South Australia in 1840)

I would if possible to see if Robert and Susan Kimber appear on any of the UK census. I did find a death (Freebdm) of a Susan Kimber in Oct 1843 at St Saviour, Southwark, but not sure if this is her?.
Many thanks for your help

1861 RG 9/530/65/16
Robert Kimber 70 Baker Croydon
Susan 61 Sheerness
Emma Brissenden dau unmarried 28 Sheerness
Susan 20 Sheerness
Sarah 18 dau Sherness

This Susan born 1800, so a lot earlier than the date of birth you gave. The dau Emma now has a different surname although unmarried, so was Susan married previously?

 Parish Registers
Baptism of Emma Susanna Stutely
 Born 27 July 1830
Baptised 8 Aug 1830
Father  Joseph Stutely Mason
Mother Charlotte Stutely
Parish or Poor Law Union St Andrew Holborn
 City of London

So if this is your Susan/annah then she may go by the name of Emma in the census? Oh but you say your Susan/annah was baptised in Kent in 1829 to parents of the same name?

Hang on a minute - if she was born 1830 then she would have been 11 years old when she married Robert in 1841.  Have i lost the plot? :)
