Mendham is right on the border with Norfolk, but is in Suffolk (LHR there)  ;)

I think the dates in question would be in the early 19C but I am not sure exactly when the 25% moved into Suffolk. The Gazetteer is dated 1844 & it was still in the 2 Counties then.

I have that Gazeteer (and the one for 1855)  .... and they are unpacked!  Should have looked more carefully.
I do have various old maps of the county, mostly bought from the SRO quite cheaply.  They however haven't turned up yet  ::)

LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale
