Thelma I CRAIN Birth

If anyone can help with a birth for Thelma, I'd be very grateful. She married in NSW in 1936. She died in 2007 and her age was given as 90. Her second name was given as Irene in the newspaper Death notice.

The lady I am helping at our family history volunteer group has no idea where she was born, and is going to get a marriage transcription. However, I know some of you kind RC-ers have access to information that just may give us her birth and her parents' names.

Would that 1935 marriage be to Archibald C T Moss, ref #17714, registered Carcoar?

I will try to help, and as I am back at home with my offline NSW resources, fingers crossed I can find some info on them both.

If she was born in NSW in 1917,  she should be on the old fiche copy of the birth index which ran to 1918  although the online index only runs to 1911.

NSW ER 1903 MACQUARIE, polling at Carcoar  (there were many other polling places in that electorate)
NONE for surname Crain;  None for surname Moss.  

There are several with surname MOSS at the Lyndhurst polling place in that electorate

I will have a good look tomorrow.

Perhaps eregli_gene has access to the old fiche copy and can look for her there this evening.

Not many Crain/Craine results at all in records I've been checking, JM......    :-\
Majority of births from 1880 to 1911 are in Adelong.
