Photo restoration please

Hi there!  I was hoping someone could help to fix the photo below.  At somepoint someone took a pen and wrote/drew over the eyes.  I am attaching the second picture so that you can see what my gr grandma looked like. Any other clean up that can be done.  I prefer the pic stay black and white.
