That would appear to be him as the dates all tie in perfectly! I'd read on a previous posting of a William James born Jan 1882, which would make him 28 by the time of the 1911 census. The joiner/carpenter element in 1911 fits in too with the Titanic connection. Thanks!
The 1911 census details a lot of Fitzroy siblings - wonder what happened to them all.
I know of a Madge, who we always called Aunt Madge, even though she must have been my granny's (Ida May) cousin, possibly a daughter of Thomas Fitzroy, but other than that I know absolutely nothing about the siblings.
I'd love to know how William met Margaret Bell and what took them to Comber, Co Down sometime after my granny, Ida May, was born.
