My earliest ancestor arrived in Australia in 1839. He was Duncan McDonald who was married to Margaret (Nee McPherson). Duncan was born in 1763 in Moidart Invernesshire. Hs Father was Archibald and his mother was Mary (nee McDonald).
I am looking for any information about Duncans family in Scotland. He Finally settled in south western New South Wales(NSW).
Any help would be appreciated\
Cecily

Hello to my Downunder Cousins.
looking at this Duncan McDonald of Moidart, son of Archibald. Did Duncan have a brother Donald?
If so what do we know about Archibald, Donald and other family members?
