Hi folks

Not been on the site in a while due to work etc. Managed to trace my McNab ancestors to the correct area and in Greenock and not Argyllshire as first thought !.

But i eventually found that my GG Grandmother Christina McVean McNab's parents Donald and Catherine McVean hailed from the Strachur area, and that's where i was going wrong.

If anyone can help with the above names it would be appreciated.

Regards

Hi Alan

So that people can help a little better (even if they don't have them in their family lines), what was Catherine, Donald McVean's wife's maiden name? Any approximate dates?

Monica  :)
