1871 census "Joseph Ireland"

The following are on the 1881 Census could anyone find them on the 1871 census for me please. Elizabeth's husband was Joseph  the son Joseph was born in Kitkcudbright  but his surname was Maltman , born before Elizabeth married Joseph Ireland
I am trying to find out when his name changed to Ireland

                Joseph IRELAND       10    M   Kirkcudbright,    Rel:   Son
                 There other children listed  but all born after 1871

Elizabeth Ireland   34
Joseph Ireland   11 Mo born Kirkcudbright
