Looking for information on the suicide of William Bonner in 1860 at Carnock. I know he was married twice first wife Elizabeth Campbell and second wife Janet Allan.
Any info would be very welcome.

the death is on SP:
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
the date is given as 15 June 1860. cause suicide by cutting his throat. you can see the full record if you buy credits.
i suspect that there would be something in the local newspaper at the time? inquest = prob in paper as well. as you have the exact date now the local library may be able to help with a photocopy of the paper article if found.
