The Hoosons of Great and Little Longstone

I'm searching for evidence of the HOOSON family living in the (Bakewell, possibly) Great Longstone and Little Longstone area of the Peak District. I know there was a small area in Little Longstone named Hooson but I have not seen where it is on any map.
ANY help would be most gratefully received.  :)

Is there any names, DOB, era that you can give us please?

If you do a free search on the 1911 census you will see that there are Hooson's living in Bakewell.

HOOSON CHARLES N b1871
HOOSON EMILY b.1879
HOOSON KATHLEEN S b.1910

Thanks very much! I'm looking for 17th century Hoosons really (or earlier) but ANY date up to about 1750 will do. :)

Have you looked at Family Search as there are the following records for Hoosons in the Bakewell area

A Thomas Howson, yeoman of Little Longstone, gave 1s 6d to the "free and voluntary present" in 1661.

Too many to list! But always particularly interested in my eight ggp lines : ALLEN, HODGKINSON, FLINT, SWINDELL, SHELDON, BINGHAM, JACKSON - all in Derbyshire; and ELLWOOD in Cambridgeshire
