Newton Thomas Page (Islington)
« on: Monday 19 March 12 13:05 GMT (UK) »
Hello
I'm looking for any information regarding Newton Thomas Page and his parents or Family.
I have that he was born in Lincoln in 1836 and according to the 1881 census he was a Jeweler 1 man and 1 boy employed and he was living in Islington London. He married a Margaretta Elizabeth Barrett
who was born in Cornwall, They had 6 children none of the names match the 1881 census, they are
Newton William Quiller 1869, Marienetta Julia Blanche 1871, Burgess Rupert Clarence 1872 - 1873,
Celestine Ada Maude 1874, Margaretta Elizabeth 1876 and Emmeline Christina Madeline 1877 all born in Islington London, With names like that you would think it would be easy to find them.

What i am really looking for is Any information on Newton Thomas Page and his parents that is why I have posted this on the Lincolnshire page, Any other help would be a bonus.

All the baptisms posted by Pauline took place at St Peters Church Islington.

Do you need the childrens dates of birth or do you have them?

Hi all just posting this possible, as it is in the right area for Newton/William/William T to operate as a Jeweller:-

Census Ref HO107/1521/56/15

In 1861 Thomas aged 15 is a Jeweller and Thomas, Albert and Harriet are now born Friskney Lincs, Emily is now b Ireland Census Ref RG09/197/103/16
In 1871 Emily is now born France? Census Ref RG10/468/33/2

Still does not really answer why/where the name Newton comes in though?!
