Akira

I can only find one death for an Annie LYNCH in 1902. Are you sure she died in 1902? or could this be the death of the Annie LYNCH in hospital?

Hi Ted,

The reference in for Annie Lynch 1902 was the only one I have found to date in Sydney, I have been periodically trolling thru the indexes looking in both Sydney & Melbourne as Edward Lynch I traced to Melbourne too he came on the Southern Cross from Melbourne to Sydney.

Regards
Akira

Hi,

Did their son born in Sydney in 1872, marry? and if so, does his mc show if his parents were still living when he married?

Also, do you have the 1872 birth cert? .... Who registered the birth, and what address for where born please.....

Hi JM,

Yes on Charles Lynch Lacey's Marriage Certificate, (and Yes he changed his names).

Edward Lynch (lacey) Master Mariner (deceased)
Mary Ann O'Sullivan

He lied about his parents names on his marriage certificate.

Akira

Hi Ted,

I found a Coroner's Inquest and he was found in Abercrombie River, Tuena , New South Wales, Australia in 1906, aged 69 (correct Age) and place of origin is (Argyllshire, Scotland) which is correct.

The BDM index reference is Edward Robert Lynch 1906 Tuena

Akira

NSW ER 1903 WERRIWA, polling at Tuena
(NSW State Library has historic Electoral Rolls)

NONE at that polling place surnamed LYNCH or LACEY or O’SULLIVAN

It was not compulsory to enrol.
