Burial place help needed

Could someone please help me locate the burial place of Catherine Ann Evans age 66, who died in
Urmston in 1948.

The best way is to send for her death certificate to see where she was when she passed away and check the nearest cemetery's

Urmston is now under Trafford Council - if she was buried in one of their cemeteries (there is one at Urmston) there are contact details on this link - they do charge for lookups:

Equally there were a few churchyards open or there could be a family connection to another area - eg Manchester or she could have been cremated - Manchester Crematorium (a few miles away) was open then.

If you can be more exact on date of death Trafford Local Studies Library has a research service (again they charge) and may be willing to search newspapers to see if there was an announcement:
