Hi
Would anyone be kind enough to do a census search for a Henry Percy Rooks b. 18th November 1903 at Cowley, Uxbridge, United Kingdom.  He was emigrated to Canada aboard the SS Scandinavian on 19th March 1915 arriving in St. John on 29th March 1915. 
Any help appreciated.

hi,,he would only appear on the 1911 census,,,and we are not allowed to do 1911 census look ups.. :'(

yes of course, should of realised about the 1911 census, sorry about that  :-[
is there anywhere in which i can view free marriage/death records or not?

Oddly,the only person I can see arriving on that ship with a similar name is a Harry R Root.

I checked the passenger list at LAC for the ship and dates that you gave and came up with the same info as Maureen.
I actually scanned all the pages to see if I could find another person on the pages other than Harry.

Harry R. Root, part of a group of Barnardos Home children, heading to Toronto.
The original passenger list could be either Rook or Root.

Is this the child you are looking for? A home child in a Barnardos group of children.

go to search census and it will bring up other census years including 1911

The 1921 Canada census will become available for transcription in 2013. I don't know how long it will take before it is transcribed but it is something to keep in mind for the future.
