Power Birth(s) Look up post 1918 Newtown Tramore
« on: Tuesday 13 March 12 23:36 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the births of My Grandfathers siblings of Cliff Road, Newtown Tramore. I believe his mother probably remarried 1919 Catherine Kiely to Edward Power. I would like the names/years of her (two?) children known to me as Bridget (F) and Tucker (M).

All help appreciated as I don't know where to start...there are so many Bridget power births around this time.

Thanks in advance

Hello...

Bridget Power born 1920 in Tramore to Catherine Kiely and Edward Power. Thats the only birth for those parents I could find on www.rootsireland as the site only has births in Waterford and only goes up to 1920
The surnames, which I am interested in are; Maternal side: Ryan, Kevin, Grant, Grady, Gleeson, Walsh, Dwyer, Paternal side: O' Dwyer, Woodlock, Rochford & Britton - all in Tipperary; and Kelly and Hoynes in Laois.

Ryan, Campbell, Luttrell, Grant, Grahame, Bainbridge and Brown in Queensland, Australia

Tighe in Victoria, Australia.

Grant in Philadelphia, Sullivan and Penny in New York; and Britton in Connecticut

Have no idea what month it was though but if you buy the record with the details that I've given you from www.rootsireland.ie, which will give you a birth record or if you go to http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/find_a_service/bdm/certificates_ie and apply for a proper birth cert there, you can also try and apply for Tucker's birth cert. I do believe that Tucker is a nickname for Thomas...as I've a friend called Tucker (Thomas).

Births on GRO Ireland go from 1864 - 2012 so you should be able to find something. Deaths go from 1924 - 2012 and Marriages go from 1920 - 2012.
