Stanley Forsyth HENRY
« on: Tuesday 13 March 12 05:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi
My good friend Ian would dearly love a photo of his “pop” Stanley Forsyth Henry. Stanley (a Shorthand Writer) was 39 years old and living in Double Bay, New South Wales when he enlisted in World War One – Regimental Number 6136; Enlistment date 4 March 1916; Unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A18 Wiltshire on 22 August 1916. Stanley was a Sergeant in the 13th Battalion and returned to Australia on 11 December 1918.
If anyone knows of any photo of Stanley Forsyth Henry (singly or in a group) we would be extremely grateful, and we would be very happy to pay any costs that might be involved.
Thank you

There is quite a bit on this chap, if you do a Google search, and unless there were two of them he was also in WW2.

There was definitely only one of him, and he was in WW2 for a bit. Thank you so much for the link to the book. I will pass all of this on to Ian and I know he will be stoked at what you have found. We are very grateful to you for taking the time and the trouble to respond to our query. Cheers
