Hi Derek Welcome to Rootchat.

You have a fabulous amount of information here of the Pearson family.
Just wondered what you would like from any of our members on this site?

Can you be more specific on what it is you are looking for?

regards Sandymc

Hi Derek

If we are not related and looking for these people do you require others
to confirm -  looking for siblings, children, occupations, addresses, ages
confirmation of these marriages and births ???
We are here to help but we need some kind of guidance as to what
exactly you would like others to do with the information you have given?

regards Sandymc   ;)

Hi Zen rabbit
Having just checked map for your area it would seem close enough for there to be a connection somewhere..

My Pearson family line goes back, definitely, to Henry Pearson born Great Wyrley (near Cheslyn Hay) around 1805 according to census. I have yet to find a definite birth record for him. Other than that he is, probably, the son of Henry Pearson 1778 - 1861 who married Ann Brockhouse on 13 Oct 1805. His father is possibly John Pearson of Cheslyn Hay. Until I can get some confirmation on Henry jr's birth I don't want to progress too far along that road just in case I am wrong.
The earliest Pearson baptism in the Cannock area seems to be Edward in 1773 (son of John & Ann Pearson) and the earliest burial is Thomas in 1747 & Dorothy (widow) in 1753. Earliest marriage is in 1765 John Pearson (collier) of Cheslyn Hay and Ann Lyons of Cheslyn Hay
