Do you know what surname you're searching for?

It's in the original post - Reynolds  ;)

I've searched and searched - can't find a trace of them yet.

I have just trawled through notes I made some time ago and found the entry which I knew I had seen:-

1881-22 Wellclose Square, St Mary, Whitechapel- RG11/449 James REYNOLDS,head,widow,48,tobacco stripper,born London Anna,dau,20,domestic servant,born Surrey **Frank,son,18,tobacco,born London James,14,son,errand boy,born London .

That begs the question - why can't I find the entry now?

Just found it on The Genealogist website.

Has it been removed from Ancestry and LDS websites, if so, why?

The last house # in Ancestry is #12 Wellclose Sq on Page 11; the last page uploaded is page 12, which has a large annotation saying 'Pages 12 & 13 inc passed over in error'

So whats the full refn in the Genealogist site - RG11/449 Folio?? Page??

Hi Tom

The reference on The Genealogist is RG11/0449/~F13 and by squinting at the top corner of the original it's page 21.   :)

Thanks HeatherL - I havent checked the original LDS version (I have the discs somewhere) - but that certainly looks like at least 9 pages missing in Ancestry .... but it begs the question if they actually used the LDS indexing - IYSWIM ?

Is there the same annotation on Page 12?
