Hi Carol & Roy,

You have certainly added to the excellent restores, the  lovely girl original was good, but you have all surpassed that, I'm pleased as punch, once again thanks to all. I'll post ( lovely girl 2 ) soon, don't want to hog the board.

Well this thread is full of surprises, I don't know how you can produce so many variations of one photo, it's been an absolute pleasure to trawl through all the restores, my Friend is going to have a hard job choosing her preferred print offs, if it was me I'd pick them all, I can't praise you all enough,.

Hi Maria.

Her name was Jessie Armstrong ( nee Waters ) born 1907 liverpool, had 5 girls eldest passed away 4 surviving today, Jessie died in 1996, I did post a week or two ago a photo of her mother, kindly restored and dated between 1903/07, her name was Dorothea born 1840.
