I am looking for a marriage sept 1917 Flora A Holmes to T Ross.

Lancashire BMD site reports the groom as Thomas S Ross.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

If the Thomas Stanley Ross is correct,then he was born 17/12/1889 and he was baptised 07/11/1891 at Liverpool St Peter to parents John and Ann Ross.

Thank you everybody  I did post a reply earlier don't know where it went.

Yes this is him he was also in South Lancs reg 2nd bn  1911 orford barracks warringtpn corporal  medal record card reg no 8198 ww1 france
awarded Military Cross Croix de Guerre mentioned in despatches emblem with oak leaf.

Contacted his reg for information as family stories say he was a major. 
Reply came back very distinguished soldier  commissioned 1931 made major 1943 officers list 1946 is has M.B.E. However they have his date of birth wrong 20.1.1898 they say it is him and the photo they sent has strong family looks but thought if I could trace his father on his marriage record that would help.

Will send for the marriage certificate if not on line. Army gave details of his marriage.
