Thank you very much for your reply, I did have a look at the census you mention a few weeks ago.
I'm actually looking for proof that 3 of my ancestors may have actually attended the college.
The first one was George Percy Cork born in Singapore about 1873, he is listed on the 1891 census as living with the Biglands family at Hall Bank, Oughterside.
He is 17 years old and listed as a pupil. I'm thinking may be he was a day student at the college.
He had previously been living in London where his other siblings were still living at this time.
On the 1901 census it states that his 2 brothers are now living in Cumbria, and are listed as farmers at Mawbray.
So I was hoping to find that they might have also attended the college.
