WW1 Medals
« on: Sunday 04 March 12 23:12 GMT (UK) »
I recently found two WW1 medals while rummaging in an old box. Don't know where they came from, definitely not relatives of mine. Someone may know more about them
1 British War Medal in very poor condition. It has no suspension bar, disc only. Named to, 44592 gnr. j. lynch. r.a.
2 Victory Medal No Ribbon, named to. 21095 Cpl. W. E. Green,  L'pool. R.
Maybe some relative might be looking for them.                                                                   Regards, jakel

First one is 44952 (transposed a number there!) Gunner John Lynch, Royal Field Artillery. Landed at Gallipoli 2 June 1915.
No further details on his MIC, and no service/pension record found.
