Could anybody please do a look up for a George Bird who was around 18 in Taunton in 1851 or around 8 in Taunton 1841

Listed as Taunton Somerset, but ??

1841 was the first census of any value to genealogists where names were listed even though the information contained is extremely limited. To get beyond the time of civil registration (1837) you will need parish records. You may find some of what you are after listed on IGI

failing that you can order parish records to you Loacal LDS Family History Centre. For  a small fee to cover postage they will order the records in for you.
