Hi Alex and Jan

The marriage took place in Frome on the 27th Sept 1797. Elizabeth is my 4th great aunt. Her brother John is my 4th great grandfather.

Thanks so much for your reply.

Could you give me some more details ?

My line is James Masters and Maria Sarah Hackett - they were her parents.

Hi Alex & Jan,

I'm sorry I'm so late getting back to you but for some reason Rootschat refuses to send me anything  and over the last twelve months if I don't look in I miss these things.
Elizabeth married James HACKETT at St John the Baptist Curch of England, Frome, on Saturday 27th August 1797.witnesses were Robert & John DEAKIN.

They had 8 children 6 survived 3 boys & 3 girls and the two that died were boys and also the first two born. Incidently Maria's brother James was sent out a convict for horse stealing. He became a very successful business man in the Penrith District.

Thanks so much for your reply Geoff, I did not know about the rest of the details.
I was trying to find out about Maria Hacket's parents.
