Hi Rosme,

Sorry for the delay in replying. Like you, I took a break from the family tree research for a while. I have a lot of information on the Lallys from Garryredmond, not so much on the Cosgroves. Do you have any info on Mary Cosgrove or her  family please? I'm planning on visiting Garryredmond soon.

Hi Cine.  I have just joined Rootschat after searching for the Lally family from Caraun.  My great grandparents were John and Margaret Lally (nee Walsh).  Their son, James, was my grandfather.  He moved to Manchester at some point and married Sarah Jane Traynor in 1900 at St Joseph's Church in Manchester (the same church where I was married years later!).   From reading all the posts on the Lally family of Caraun and Garryredmond, my grandfather must have had a few brothers and sisters.   It would be great to know who they were and also whether I am related to any of those who have posted on Rootschat about the Lally family.
Many thanks, Rita
