Thank you. l I'll pass that on to my informant. I guess that here's a chance the child might be related so will keep that info on file.

Hi Jennifer. My apologies  for being out of touch for such a long time because of illness. As a result I have done no research. I can however give you the children of Ellen. and James Watson.
William DofB unknown. Died June 1916 in France or Belgium
Samuel DofB 02 05 1884
Anthony DofB 14 07 1886    My grandfather
James.DofB 1889
George DofB 1890
Robert DofB 1892
Richard DofB 1893
David DofB 1897
Thomas DofB 1899

Some of these g'uncles I remember from early childhood. Sorry I have not got all the spouses.
Hope this is of interest. I have a bit more on the Watson side of the tree.
Ellen and James had 11 children but only 9 survived. which was no mean achievement back then.
Regards G
Looking for help researching Watsons in Lagmore, Lambeg and Colin areas of Derriaghy.
Also Crowe, Close, Elwood. All in Derriaghy area

I hope you are on the mend.  With a bit of luck and the information you have given me I might be able to do more online from this end.  I haven't done much with Irish records yet - I have to learn to navigate them.  I do have other Irish ancestry - Hudson and Foley from Thomastown, Kilkenny and Smith (yes SMITH!!) from Dublin.  Most of my ancestors are English with the BRUCE family supposedly Scottish and other ancestors from near the Welsh border at Shropshire.

It is approaching the heart of Winter here in OZ, but I can remember on a visit to the U.K. many years ago how delightful it was as Spring moved through to Summer over there.

Regards,
Jennifer
