« on: Thursday 23 February 12 00:13 GMT (UK) »
Can someone kindly restore this photo before it fades away, not sure but looks like the horse has nocked the top rail off,I think I can see the rail at the side of the horse, also in the background it looks like a homestead on the right of picture.Thanking you.
Cheers
Judy

Hi Judy :)

What a great photo!  Do you know anything about the event or what station that is in the background?

Hi Prue
Unfortunately  I don't know where it was or who,it was a photo in my Grandfathers collection,he and his brother worked on Telemon Station in the Springsure Q area, but could be another station.Did you see the other photo I put up for a restore with the two brothers and the aboriginals,it is a great photo,it looks like a aboriginal wedding, but not sure.
Cheers
Judy

I have just seen it Judy, didn't clock it before...great photo! I've just replied on that topic.  I love these, what a life it must have been out on the land in those days.  I visited Springsure many years ago on a camping holiday.
