Hi Rachel
I've found a Henry Beesley's birth registered in Preston 9which covers Dutton) in Sep 1837 quarter.Might this be him? Have a look at freebmd website.

First of all good luck if you are looking for the Beesley family...in that area there are a great many families!! It is a really strong local name. My question was where did you find Ditton BMDs? My Dennett family lived in Appleton (Widnes) by the 1841 census and thereafter, but all seem to have originated in Ditton. It is, of course, quite close by, but the whereabouts of the parish records would be very helpful. Many thanks,

Cholton

thankyou for the reply

i have actually managed to trace my beesley family back to the early 1500s now as a result of parish records of ditton and farnworth pre 1837 i think they come under prescot in the parish records index. you are quite right there are a lot of Beesley's around the area at that time and they were nearly all in the watch making business too.

good luck with your research

Rachel

Hello Richard.
I am looking for others who are researching the Beesley families from  Prescot, Eccleston, Farnworth, Widnes, Huyton and surrounding areas.
I think I have been in touch with Rachael who is researching Henry Beesley before, but my computer crashed and I haven't been able to get in touch with her again.
Henry's father is my direct line too.   I would love to get in touch with her again, and yourself if you are researching the same family.
Hope you get this message, as your last post was some time ago
Regards, Janiceb
