There are no house numbers on Monk Street in 1881! ::)

However I can't find any McKenna or Finnegan on Monk Street.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

I have searched for her as Catherine Finnegan there is one over in Durham husband Edward but the marriage isnt her,or I dont think it is,one in Scotland in 1881 butno husband with her,she could be any where

1881 - James and Margaret McKenna are in Friars (Monk St
 - Friars  :)) it is the same registration district.

Yes I agree I did a Google for Monk Street they appear to be still there present day Friar Street & Monk Street are quite.
I was in Friar Street That James Died.
I went through every Image on the Census that Registration District no sign of any Finnigans.
Running out of things to do

I suppose it is trying to eliminate the Catherine who dies perhaps?

If you could find any church records it may help- if they stayed in same neighbourhood etc.
