« on: Sunday 19 February 12 22:43 GMT (UK) »
Hi,  I am looking for family of Mathew Redworth (Mack) born to William and Elizabeth Redworth at Welling in Kent England 1910.

I am building the family tree.  He was one my mother's younger brothers.  I have managed to find all of the family except for Mathew.  Will gladly swap information of the rest of the family.

Initially, please contact me through this site.

Hi the person you are tracing is he Mathew or Tommy Redworth?Secondly do you have proof he travelled to South Africa or is it a guess?I ask this because I looked up passengers travelling to SA and there are no people with the surname Redworth on these lists.
Austin, Ayling, Alborough, Bescoby, Cheal, Groom,Rathbone,Tarboton,Lyell and Smith.

Hi Pampoen,

Sorry for my mistake.  The heading should have read Mathew Redworth.  Tommy was Mathew's younger brother.  I take your point regarding passenger lists to SA, I had no joy either.  In fact I have tried looking through all the African states without any luck.  I have been assured by a cousin who had more knowledge than myself about Mat's background, that he in fact did leave the UK for South Africa.  As no specific information is available to me regarding how and when he left, it was after his divorce from his wife mid to late 1940's and we lost contact from him.
