Hi,
I am researching the life of Hezekiah Wager (g g Gf)- He was born in 1841  in Maldon, Essex.
He moved to Hartlepool where he lived for the rest of his life. A 'Find My Past' record  lists his death in 1899 as 'Lost at Sea' - {possibly in a ship called 'Thistle'}

Does your 1899 Murrell incident mention his name?

I would be grateful for any assistance you can give.

Durham Records Online has 2 marriages and 4 deaths including Captain Joseph Edward Murrell died 1919 of "Bracondale" Clifton Avenue (presumably) West Harlepool. A ship named Bracondale  belonging to a later J.E. Murrell is pictured in the link below along with a small write up on the younger J.E. Murrell and a Marconi Radio/Cabinet pictured too.

Hi Barryd,
Do you have any info on captain Harry Murrell. It was the date of 1899 and Hartlepool that caught my attention.
