Hi again, that marriage looks good, as this looks to be the christening of Mary:-

Mary Oates was baptised in
Bishopwearmouth but born Deptford

Anthony Oates was buried 21 Jul 1839, age 71, of Ayers Quay

A few Phillis burials but they were children, none older up to 1839 in BWM

This will help--a brother to Mary Oates, baptism BWM

Robert Oates, born 1 Jun 1808, baptised 14 Jun 1809 3rd son of Anthony Oates, Labourer, native of Hamsterley by his wife Phillis Robson, native of North Sunderland  (this is the North Sunderland that is now in Northumberland I think as others on the page just said Sunderland)

There are many other siblings.  Places of parents nativity the same--Hamsterley and North Sunderland

Hamsterely St. James baptisms page 1778, page 26

Anthony and Hannah, son and Daur (twins) baptised 31 May 1778 of Anthony and Mary Oats of Hamsterley

Bamburgh, Northumberland baptisms

Phillis Robson baptised 29 Aug 1773 daur of Thomas and Ann Robson of Budle

Anthony Oates was buried 21 Jul 1839, age 71, Ayers Quay

Would Ayers Quay be the area he was living at the time of his death or the Cemetery where he was burried? As  from what I can find out on the internet the only Cemetery at Ayers Quay was a small Jewish cemetery, which was in use at the time of his burial.

Place he died, not the Jewish Cemetery.  That would be where he lived (and died) most likely.  The burial would be in Bishopwearmouth churchyard.

Phillis buried 4 Sep 1842, of Lombard Street, age 68, died 2 Sep 1842, widow of Anthony Oates, labourer.  Buried Sunderland Holy Trinity
Co. Durham:  Hall, Snowdon, Makepeace, Barnfather, Barrass, Gray/Grey, Wilson, Carr, Cole, Richardson, Greener, Lamb
Northumberland:  Grey/Gray, Richardson, Barnfather, Heron, Redpath

Hi again, their would appear to be these siblings also for Mary:-

Thomas Oats Birth 29th Sept 1795 Baptism 18th February 1798
Ann Birth 11th Feb 1797 Baptism 18th Feb 1798
Catherine Birth 4th June 1804 Baptism 2nd Sept 1804
Phillis  10th May 1816
Anthony b 4th July 1802
Catherine 18th April 1813
All born Bishops Wearmouth, parents Anthony and Phillis
Burials Catherine 14th Feb 1809 Bishops Wearmouth
Burial Phillis Oates 20th August 1820 aged 4 Ayres Quay

Could this be the marriage of Anthony to Phillis?

Anthony YATES to Philis Robson 14th April 1793 Houghton Le Spring, Durham
