sarina23 re Kirkcaldie and Calder's in Buffalo, NY USA. James Calder's son William who died in 1981, is my husband's father. I was amazed to see the posts dated 2009. My husband had lost most of the info on his family and it was interesting to see relatives he's mentioned listed in replies to you. My husband and his brother seem to have lost contact with other US relatives as the older generation died off. At 76 and 78 they are now the "older" generation.
I'd like to put together a family chart for their children. I'm working on mine for my children. My husbands first wife has dimensia so that is something she will never help them with. I've been widowed twice with 2 children from each of those marriages. It means a lot to my children to have family information. I believe my stepdaughter will be interested. I know my husband will be glad to get whatever information I can put together for him.
Perhaps I'll try here to find more info on my greatgrandfather John D. Graham. All I know is he came from Scotland. Greatgrandma Marion Helen Kelly has been easier to trace. I have several generations in Scotland of Kelly, Gregg Mcmurrie and other names.
Please do say hello. I'll share what I can and ask questions to get more for you on the Calder's here.
