Kev - the Lancashire Online Parish Clerk website (free) has a full transcription for this marriage from the church registers - registers did not have father's names until civil registration (July 1837) for England & Wales. The names of the witnesses may help (or they could be "regulars" - looking at other entries for the same period at that church would make that clear).

On Familysearch there are 2 possible children from this marriage

Father Isaac Burgess mother Sophia Pollard

Mary Burgess baptised 12 May 1833
Francis Burgess baptised 21 May 1826

Primitive Methodist connexion Circuit Preston Brook Cheshire
There are other children with father Isaac Burgess and mother Sophia baptised at Alderley cheshire  but these might not be the same family
