I’m wondering if Rachel received the documents from the MOD and were they helpful. My grandfather was also in the Palestine Police force and then joined the RAF. I’d use the same route you did - if it was helpful.

Many thanks for your post. I have to say the records I received were of invaluable help and really worth obtaining. Yes would without a shadow of a doubt obtain the records you need. I would strongly urge to you obtain them.
