Webster Place - anyone with Manchester historical knowledge?
« on: Sunday 12 February 12 20:19 GMT (UK) »
Apologies I don't know Manchester and googling has not helped.  GGG grandparents lived on Webster Place.....part of the ecclesiastical district of All Souls in the New Cross ward.  I can see approximately where that would be and assume it has long gone [last living there 1871] but would be interested to find any historical information about Webster Place/the area. That line of my family tree gets very complicated at this point, trying to unravel who lived where on a street by street basis!

Select the 1891 map (it's the only map that Webster Place is marked on)

- Click here - for a recent view of the same area.

Given the proximity of Webster Place to All Souls Church you might find this link useful
