I see you are online at the moment Kim - it's a long time since this thread was active. I don't know how much further you have got with this family but I have had another go and found this in 1851

Now, since those early days on Rootschat I now have access to the original parish records for Chersey so next time I go to the records centre I will check this family out for you and try and confirm his parents as he doesn't appear on any census with them. I 've had a quick read through the thread and Smithers appears to be a twist in the equation if this is your Aaron??? I may have misread this as I am off work at the moment having suffered a blow to my head and dizziness is my main problem at the moment - more than normal, anyway


If you have already found this information give me a shout and it will save a journey. If all goes well I should be able to go there this week

Still can't see Aaron Pharo and Ann on the 1851 but still looking. As Aaron junior is with grandparents his parents could be anywhere mistranscribed or not!

  Yes - just realised that  - Ewell is in Surrey by the way not Kent.  I have seen that mistake on the census records before.

Let me know if you want me to check out the Chertsey records for any Pharo's

I want to know what diet Sarah smithers was on because in the 10 years from 1841 to 1851 she only aged 6 years!  definitely the right gene pool to belong to - and the correct famiy for sure.
