Hi,

  New to the forum. My direct ancestors were ancestors of Thomas Greenaway and Sarah Elliot. Their Son Joseph Greenaway (Greenwood) married to Isabella Dunbar ( Barr).
  Can I ask where you are doing your search for Greenaway? Where do you get the certificate from ansimi?

Hi raidersrule, I don't have that Greenaway/Greenwood-Dunbar/Barr certificate. I just found it indexed on familysearch.org while looking at Greenaways and knew it was the Greenwood family of this topic.

Greenaway was a much more common name than Greenwood in that area. My extended family actually has both Greenaway and Greenwood connections.

My ancestors are Thomas Greenwood and Sarah Elliot. Has anyone managed to find anything about Thomas or Sarah’s mothers and fathers? I’m really stuck !!!!
