I wonder if anyone can help me trace Robert Henry McCann born East Stonehouse Plymouth 25 January 1935 and who MAY have emigrated to Australia in the 1950s.   Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.   Many thanks

I looked in FindMyPast immigration, there are only 2 using soundex for both names.
Doesn't give much hope.
Did he leave as a young boy or take his family with him?
Records finish in 1960.

Hi Tina - very many thanks for your interest - I have now worked from the other end and traced him thro' Australian National Archives - and found he left England later than I thought, in 1966. with a wife and child.  So am following him up there.
