Yep, got that one thanks. I know about Thomas' parents, but not his fathers birthplace, which is why I have been investigating Thomas birth, in the hope that by finding where he was born, I may also find his fathers native patch. Thankyou for your help
OK... update:
Thomas was born in Pembrokshire, South Wales, but his father was from Marazion.
....so as lovely as it is here in Wales, I'm headed back to Cornwall.
