I have a 1923 photo taken in South Marston Wiltshire, England,on it is written "Clara Large" outside "Sparrow Barracks" nb, this was the last of the single storey thatched labourers cottages here, now demolished, I have taken a digital of photo, but skill prevents posting, laptop with software is busted..
Well, Clara had married an EDGAR Sheridan 3rd Q 1920 Vol 5a Page 33 here, in this Village on photo.
Now I find that Clara is related by marriage to my family, via my Daughter in law.
Another note on paper says "Ned" Sheridan ex Australian Army,he in fact worked with my father David Edgar Williams 1907-1983 at the Drop Hammer Forge,s in the Great Western Railway Works in Swindon Wiltshire right up through WW11.
Edgar Sheridan,s Death Cert states ,Birth 14th June 1898 Death Reg,d March 1977 age 78.
There is just a chance that "Ned" was an Australian by Birth, so a possible registration in Australia, and yesterday I told his youngest son that I would have a look for him!!
Gratefull of any help please. Allen.
