Hi Sandra, yes there were rumours that Rachel had in fact 3 sets of twins. Now your latest message confirms it. Hilda is also part of a set of twins. Her sister Mabel survived.

Reply #45 referring to James Jenkinson Hodgson. He was born prior to Priscilla's marriage to Jenkinson. When she remarried to Cavanagh James went to live at 63 North Rd with his grandmother Elizabeth. He is so hard to pin down I lost track of him after 1901. He lived at 55 North Road in 1901 Having  a cousin by the same name in 1874 makes looking for records difficult as ages are never exact. Perhaps he died.

Hello Sandra,
Is there someone that looks up burials in Penrith St Andrews as I have my oldest John Hodgson 1782-1790 who died there. Last address was 11 Town Head, Penrith, Cumberland in 1851. His wife Priscilla died in 1859 but I do not know where she is buried. They have lived around St Andrews Church yard throughout their married life. They had 2 sons  still living with them in 1851 Thomas b.1831 and John b.1829. Unfortunately I cannot find John 1790 after the 1851 census or the boys. I wondered if he died shortly after his wife and possibly buried with her. Her death date was Jul qtr of 1859 in Penrith. I hoping if some has the burial records then perhaps the address can pinpoint which John Hodgson is mine. Unfortunately there are a few.
Can you direct me?

Ever thankful for your input,

Jan
