The Elizabeth you are after is the one born in 1774, daughter of Thomas and Mary, not the Elizabeth born in 1781. Elizabeth died in 1812 just after giving birth to her sixth child with Humphrey Wallis. Three children were pre the marriage including twins and three post the marriage.
Elizabeth had a brother Thomas who married Anne Otter and it is this aunt Ann(e) who heads up the 1851 household at Witham Bank, Lincoln containing her sister-in-law Elizabeth's daughter Amelia and husband James Pearson, great-niece-in-law Frances Pearson and great-nephew-in-law Humphrey Wallis.
Hope that helps to piece together a story which becomes more tangled the more you delve into it!

Hi, Tuppenny,
Apologies for not getting back sooner. Problems with line, eventually traced to fault at exchange. Then router not working, so more expense. Suffering withdrawal and then when I got back to RootsChat everything had changed.
To get to the point, many thanks for your info about Elizabeth, will certainly look at that.
Once again, many thanks.
Regards
Bob.
