Hello Robyn, my name is Glennis (Greatgran graham), Glen for short and I live in the Royal National Park south of Sydney. Thank you for writing, Jim gave me a long list of my rellos yesterday and said that you and I should make contact, I have been sitting at the computer all day trying to find more info on the Grahams. There is so much in my box now that it will take me weeks if not months to get it all sorted. My father's grandmother was Fanny Graham and i have a few family stories that came down through the daughters of Fanny, I am her Great Great Grandaughter as you are of Isabella. I dont know much about the one boy in Fanny's children but his six elder sisters were full of tales and traumas.
I have a number of photos which include Great Great gran Fanny when she was very old and photos of her funeral. I havent had them out for many years so you will have to give me a bit of time to find them again and scan them to the computer so they can travel.
I am amazed that Isabella was the one married to 'Hansen' as I collected all the info I could find relating to her a few months ago but put her aside as I found an Isabella Graham of the right age who had died in the year the two girls arrived in Sydney. She came from Scotland and father was James with mother Elizabeth. I now know that Isabella lived, married and had children other wise we would'nt be having this conversation

. Maybee the other Isabella from Scotland was related too.
Oh I found yesterday that there was no Will when Isabella and Fanny's father William (1803-1873 died and that Esther (Lowry) Graham was a few months pregnant with William Graham's child (Elizabeth) when she married William Chambers and that young Elizabeth was only 14 when she was sent to USA to live with the sister and her family. Makes you wonder what was going on in the family in Donegal. The stories from Fannys girls werent too generous to Chambers.
Well, sore neck from being on the computer for too long so Ill have to close down and look forward to talking to you again soon.
Kind regards
Glen
