Scots who came to the Colonies after the Battel of Dunbar
« on: Saturday 04 February 12 15:10 GMT (UK) »
I read a post day, submitted quite awhile ago. I believe I can answer it. That person wanted to know where the records were for the indentured servants who came to Boston after the Battle of Dunbar. They can be found at the Saugus Iron Works to start.  I believe there are others on Ancestry.com. Hope this is helpful.

A list of Scot prisoners captured at the Battle of Dunbar on 03 Sep 1650 and deported to The Colonies aboard the Unity in Nov 1650 can been seen at the R. Stanton Avery Special Collections Department at the New England Historic Genealogy Society in Boston, MA, USA.  To my knowledge no one has yet located the results of the report request (dated 03 Feb 1652, Common Journal, Volume 7, page 254, column 1, paragraph 4).
