There is an impressive sand stone "threepenny piece shaped" memorial to the Phillips family of the Hand Hotel, unfortunately it is badely eroded

I am researching W.John Jones of Plas Isaf & latterly from Tir Llannerch (born c1801) The John Jones above (John Jones of Tir llanerch, Solicitor, died at Tir Llanerch 14 December 1852 and was buried at Carrog) Do you know how old he was in 1852? Any help appreciated, I am not local so unsure of area.......thanks
