Hi Cynn,
I’m wondering if your Jeremiah Campion is the same as my 3x great grandfather. The dates are a bit different but the story is the same. Born in 1820 in Cork, marries his cousin, sails to India in 1846, work for the East India Company, rose to be a Major-General in the Royal India Army Service Corps… died in 1878 and buried in Mhow. Had a daughter called Charlotte. Does it sound familiar?
