Searching for an obituary notice for a Frank Dixon who I've been told passed away in Cuyahoga, Ohio in 1990

It would be helpful if you could find him on the Social Security Death Index (free on www.familysearch.org).  That should give you at least a month and year of death and probably a place of last residence.

I see a Franklyn K. Dixon on there who died 31 Aug. 1989 and last resided in Rocky River, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.  If that's him, there's an obituary for him in the Cleveland Plain Dealer per this index:  http://www-catalog.cpl.org/CLENIX/ABU-4723
