Does anyone know where the marriage registers for the East London Tabernacle in Burdett Road, Mile End, London are held? I am looking for the marriage of a John Charles Cox to Florence Walton in 1916.

If you do a google search for East London Tabernacle records the first hit gives you a history of the building which states that the original building was destroyed during WW2 so its possible that the records were too. There is contact details so they may be able to tell you the answer

You might have to order a copy from the GRo at Southport if the originals don't exist anymore.
