Thanking both Sue & Alan ever so much for your help in finding some of my Rix family.
I think John Rix must have died between 1832 & 1841, this gives me a time span to search the GRO for his death (I cannot find his death on the FREEBMD)
Caroline b abt 1829 must have been married by the 1851 census.
Is there any sign of Charles Rix and his wife Eliza and children Henry b abt 1845, Caroline Eliza Rix b abt 1848, John Rix b abt 1847 and Thomas William b abt 1850 (all these children were born in Dunmow)

Hello Sue, Thank you for the Rix family for the 1861 census but I already have this info.
I am looking for Charles Rix in the 1851 census or Charles Rix on the Landowners Index.
